Suminagashi: Meditative Paper Marbling Workshop with Odette Press Saturday, August 23rd 10am - 12pm
Explore the creative and meditative practice of suminagashi or "floating/spilled ink" as you learn to make marbled paper with Kelly Laughlin of Odette Press. Characterized by delicate tendrils of ink and swirling, nature-inspired patterns, you’ll be guided through a brief demonstration of this mesmerizing process and its history, you’ll connect to the flow of color and water as you create your collection of marbled designs. Come revive your creativity in this simple, tranquil, inspiring workshop.
Saturday, August 23rd 10am - 12pm
This workshop is great for beginners, or anyone curious to ground down into creativity. All materials provided and all are welcome. You’ll leave with a collection of at least 10+ pieces of marbled paper.

Join us in the Third Season Design Studio located at 1516 W Carroll Ave. Please enter on the Justine side of the building. Weather permitting we may tour The Roof Crop Headquarter's green roof.
