Jacy Highbarger brings years of farming and landscaping expertise to her role as Farm Manager for The Roof Crop. From her early days of seasonal and after school farming and landscaping experience and then as a farmhand in Iowa to now leading urban agriculture initiatives in Chicago for The Roof Crop, she's developed deep knowledge of sustainable food systems. Now overseeing 13 rooftop farms across the city, Jacy manages everything from planting to harvest, supplying fresh produce and flowers to local restaurants, florists, and Third Season. Her work creates thriving green spaces that nourish both the community and the environment.
