$2,500 Donation - The Roof Crop Foundation

In 2013, The Roof Crop LLC was conceived as a project to transform the Chicago urban landscape by developing farmable, productive green roof systems. In the years following, The Roof Crop evolved into a full-service green-roof construction, landscape, and urban farm company with deep ties to the communities in which we work, from residences and office buildings, to restaurants and florists.

Today, the Roof Crop LLC offers services that connect people to more sustainable practices, from the food and flowers we grow, to the events we host, the beehives we tend, and to the hospitality industry we support.

In 2020 we launched The Roof Crop Foundation as a way to extend the research and methods of growing on roofs and urban landscapes initiated by The Roof Crop LLC. The foundation drives innovation in ecological growing protocols to improve agricultural yields and apiary health, while benefiting the urban community and environment.

Connection - We strive to develop relationships both inside and outside of our company. We set out to improve local communities by cultivating productive green space within them; we then sustain long lasting relationships with those communities.

Sustainability - is about a healthy future. We strive - with our work - to answer yes to the following question: Are our decisions making the lives of the children and grandchildren of the community better?

Innovation - With every new project and initiative we strive to embrace design, streamline process, and create opportunity.

Local Delivery (minimum order $25, some zip code restrictions) Deliveries are made Monday-Friday between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm within 2-3 business days of order being received. If you are looking for a specific delivery time please email orders@theroofcrop.com

Store Pick-Up Orders are processed within 2-3 business days and can be picked up Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 am & 4:00 pm at The Roof Crop Warehouse located at 2825 West 5th Avenue, Chicago IL 60612

USPS Orders are processed within 2-3 business days and shipped via USPS. We do not currently ship fresh flowers or perishable items.

Lobby Pick-Up Program Lobby deliveries are available for group orders. Email orders@theroofcrop.com to find out how your building can join the program!

Deliveries are made between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm for residents and employees only of approved building lobbies, noted below. Pick up same day to ensure freshness. We can’t guarantee quality of orders left overnight.
