Sustainably grown on several TRC roofs, tulsi basil is considered to be the "Queen of Herbs" and is hand-harvested throughout the season to capture the plant in all of its stages. Tender early leaf and mid-summer tulsi, all create a complex tisane that is a staple in every pantry.

The flavor profile is often described as similar to cloves and anise, with hints of mint and a slight peppery note.

Serving suggestion: 1 Tbl for 10oz water.

Water temperature: 205ºF
Brewing time: 3-5 minutes.
Infusions: 4x (For each additional infusion add 1 minute to brew time)

You can add to a warm bath or in a bowl as a facial steam for a calming retreat. Strained and added to a bottle and used as a botanical spritz for skin or hair.
