A Valentines Day card based on popular designs from the 18th and 19th century, known as “puzzle purses”. This unique way of folding letters is called itogami or tato and originated in the Hein period in Japan. The design traveled to Europe in the 18th century becoming a popular valentines token as a way to share love poems, trinkets, and secret messages.

5"x5" inches, laser printed on ivory colored paper. Comes pre-folded.
